Our murals are custom designed and hand painted, each project is completely unique. In this computer age when cheap printed wallpaper murals are all the rage, we offer something more—a one of a kind, hand crafted mural. This is done directly on a prepared wall or canvas which is then applied to the wall. This technique is called marouflage. A French term meaning sticky, affixing a painted canvas to a wall or board.
This tradition goes back centuries and aside from the improvement of paint materials, is done just as it was six hundred years ago. No computer can compete with the nuances captured with a brush and a keen eye.
The best thing about using this timeless technique is that most of the work is done in studio and not in your home or office. So there is no daily traffic of paint buckets coming into your space for days at a time. And, in just a few hours time the installation is complete. This gives our client the feeling of an instant mural!
During the process of painting, you may come see the mural in person or progressive photos can be sent via e-mail. So if you are around the corner or across the country, this option is available.
