Chris is the Co-Founder, conceptual designer and project manager of Blice Edwards Inc. but you might just call him the “go-to guy” or “Mr. Attention to Details”. He manages much of the day-to-day aspects of the company and keeps Jon on task.
In 1992, careful reflection and soul-searching led Chris to make a decision to follow his “entrepreneurial dreams” and start his own decorative painting business. Even though he lacked the formal training, Chris combined his raw talent, relentless drive and refusal to fail to build the foundation of which would later become Blice Edwards. Business increased and he expanded his skill-set with some workshops throughout the country but found himself accepting a job with a special request to paint animals. With his specialty being ornate and faux finishes, he again relied on his sheer determination to find someone that could add animals to the project. Whether through fate or luck Chris happened upon Jon Edwards, an artist looking for some additional side work. After a successful project and with others coming in, they founded Blice Edwards (Incorporate January, 1993) and have been creating murals, decorative painting masterpieces throughout Indiana, the country and even the world. You have probably come across some of their work that adorns buildings across Indianapolis, such as: Angie’s List Corporate Headquarters, Posh Petals, 120 West Market Grill, Scotty’s Brew House (downtown), Good Morning Mama’s, Westfield Blossoms, Westfield, Indiana and some others you probably haven’t, hidden gems inside of some of Indianapolis’ most prestigious homes. If you know Chris then you already know you have a friend, someone that will help you out in any way he can.
